About this event

With its protected coastal dunes, pine flatwoods, wetlands and other diverse habitats, this park provides excellent opportunities for birding. The park opens at 8am and we will start at 8:15am at the Gator Lake parking lot. Explore Gator Lake from the viewing deck or walk the Oak canopy trails around the lake. Next, we will drive to the nearby jetties to observe shore and seabirds from the boardwalks which also feature benches for seated birding or just relaxing and enjoying the view. Binoculars will be available, bring walking shoes and water.
