  • The annual Princess Ball will be held in Bay County for its 19th year, inviting girls (12 and under) and their chosen Prince for a night of dancing and music. Proceeds benefit Girls Inc. of Bay County.  WJHG
  • Three high-tech trucks are stationed at key spots in Panama City Beach during spring break as part of Project TEMPEST. Gulf Coast State College partnered with local law enforcement to train first responders & monitor crowd and traffic in real time.  WJHG

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Gas prices in Florida dipped on Friday, with Panama City now the cheapest at $3.320 per gallon after a 10-day streak of increases. The coordinated release of 400 million barrels from oil reserves helped slow rising fuel costs, though diesel prices continued to climb.  Panama City News Herald

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport launched a donation program to collect food, gift cards, and supplies to support unpaid TSA officers and federal workers during the government shutdown. Local businesses are helping by offering meals at designated drop-off points.  WJHG
