- ➤ A 19-year-old was arrested over the weekend when deputies found a stolen gun—along with marijuana— during a short-term rental eviction. WJHG
- ➤ Three Panama City residents were arrested on March 15 after a traffic stop in Youngstown on Highway 231 led law enforcement to find 132.2 grams of methamphetamine and 74.4 grams of fentanyl tossed from the vehicle—investigators say the suspects had traveled out of state for the drugs and now face multiple trafficking charges. - ➤ Panama City Beach Police will increase penalties for spring break violations with special event zones beginning noon Thursday until 5 a.m. Monday on Pier Park Drive to Hill Road + Jackson Boulevard to Joan Svenue, warning that doubled traffic fines, vehicle impoundments, and extra charges for unpermitted truck rallies will be enforced.
