Residents in Bay County had yard and craft sales on March 21 in Panama City Beach, Lynn Haven and Bayou George, and today community events in Panama City and nearby areas offer buyers new chances—another fundraiser sale is planned for March 29.

The new skate park at Frank Brown Park in Panama City Beach nears completion—it is scheduled to open toward the end of April.

Miss West Florida Teen Chloe O’Donoghue discussed her service project Sew Loved on NewsChannel 7 Friday morning — she donated over 900 handmade stockings, 1000 books, and many stuffed animals to family courts in Bay, Okaloosa, and Walton counties to support children in foster care. She will expand her outreach as she heads to Miss Florida’s Teen in June.

Kenny Redd from the Historical Society of Bay County promoted its Archaeology of Northwest Florida program—Dr. Della Scott Ireton will give a presentation about the region’s archaeology at the public library at 6 p.m. on March 24th.
