- ➤ Florida Healthy Start has launched TEAM DAD Graduation to teach, empower, and mentor local men so they can become the fathers their children need. The program promises to offer practical guidance and support for dads in our community. WJHG

- ➤ On Tuesday, March 24, Florida’s average regular gas (3.920/gallon) fell slightly as the national average rose to 3.977, with Panama City recording one of the lowest rates at 3.702 while Monroe County reached 4.188, according to AAA. Panama City News Herald

- ➤ Panama City commissioners discussed a potential grant of up to $400,000 in CRA funds to help rebuild the Boys and Girls Clubs Millville center damaged by Hurricane Michael — final approval from Bay County is pending. WJHG
- ➤ Two areas of the sandy beach will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. until April 30 to curb large crowds during spring break + officials say the change will help better allocate police resources. Panama City News Herald

- ➤ Aroi Thai Restaurant & Bar (1305 E 5 St.) in Panama City was temporarily closed after inspections on Mar. 18 and Mar. 19 revealed food storage issues and roach activity, prompting callback inspections to ensure corrections for 8 violations. Panama City News Herald

- ➤ Panama City commissioners approved two affordable housing units built on city-owned land with each home capped at $275K for qualified buyers. A housing workshop on the new infill program is scheduled next month to discuss future plans. WJHG
