- ➤ Surfside Middle School SGA students hosted an Easter egg hunt where the Easter Bunny made a visit—bringing a festive spring event to the school. WJHG
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ At 12:16 p.m. today, officials said the Clayton Road brush fire burned 150 acres and is 90% contained after a 9:15 a.m. report showed just 50% containment and evacuees returned by 7:00 p.m. last night, with 10 personnel and one drone providing support. WJHG
- ➤ Springfield Police said Alvin Parrish from Panama City Beach died on Thursday night when his motorcycle collided with a left-turning Nissan van at East 11th Street and Transmitter Road — the van driver was cited for failing to yield — as officers attempted life-saving measures. WJHG
