- ➤ On April 27, friends and family gathered at Hiland Park Baptist Church in Panama City to honor Capt. Jared Sasnett, a dedicated first responder who died on April 18; the procession featured tributes and community support (including a fundraiser that raised over $45K for his family). - ➤ City Church at Northside breaks ground on renovations after Hurricane Michael devastated the church in 2018 and plans to complete work within a year. Pastor Luther Stanford said the church will serve its congregation across two campuses to maintain its historic character + community unity. WJHG
