- ➤ Airport officials expect the busiest summer yet at the local airport with roughly 120 commercial operations on each weekend day and about 15,000 travelers on Saturdays + staff ready to manage high traffic amid ongoing terminal construction. WJHG
- ➤ The St. Andrews Bay Yacht Club got city approval to build a new clubhouse with a modern design and pool on higher ground overlooking St. Andrews Bay. Groundbreaking will begin in 4 to 6 weeks with completion expected in 12 months under a thirty year development agreement. WJHG
- ➤ The Spring Thunder Beach Rally is underway in Panama City Beach, drawing thousands of motorcyclists to local hotels and restaurants. The free event runs daily through Sunday starting at 9 a.m., promising an economic boost to local businesses + showcasing custom motorcycle vendors. WJHG
- ➤ The Salvation Army is registering local kids ages 6-12 for Camp Keystone, a free week-long summer camp in Starke from June 8 to June 13 & registration runs online until May 29 with community sponsorship available for $250 per camper. WJHG

- ➤ On April 29, Florida saw the price for a gallon of regular gas rise 7 cents to $4.153 after a 14-cent increase the previous day, with Panama City options tracking low at Sam’s Club ($3.46) and AMI Food Store ($3.39). The rise adds to recent statewide cost pressures. Panama City News Herald

- ➤ Ascension Sacred Heart Bay hosted a special luncheon on April 23 to honor volunteers during National Volunteer Week.
