Rosenwald High held its commencement on May 15 at Tommy Oliver Stadium in Panama City.
Graduates earned diplomas as school officials and retired U.S. Army 1st Sgt. Andre Goss guided the ceremony.
Students in 12 counties will end school this week, with Madison County finishing May 21 and others letting out through May 29 or in June; there is no school on Memorial Day (May 25) and classes for the 2026-2027 year begin Aug.

El Niño is raising upper-level wind shear in the Atlantic, which may reduce tropical storm numbers as hurricane season starts on June 1; however, Florida residents should still prepare since one storm can cause major impacts.
NOAA will issue its official forecast on May 21 plus updated outlooks follow.

North Bay Haven’s softball team is heading south for upcoming tournaments—its coach outlined a focused agenda that stresses teamwork and strategy.
