- ➤ A Panama City charter captain, 31, was sentenced to one month in prison and fined $51,000 after he intentionally used toxic methomyl bait to poison and shoot bottlenose dolphins during his fishing charters—prosecutors said he carried out these actions between 2022 and 2023 even in front of children and other fishermen.
