  • The Panama City Police Department is asking for help locating two runaway teens—14-year-old Jaclyn Dumers was last seen near the 2100 block of Lisenby Avenue in a grey sweatsuit with white and black Nike shoes, and 13-year-old Leah Owens in a black beanie, FSU hooded sweatshirt, black shirt, black ripped jeans, and carrying a rainbow and black bag—at about 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.  WJHG

  • Panama City has been named one of the top red snapper fishing destinations by FishingBooker.com, which listed eight Gulf spots including Pensacola Beach, Clearwater and Lee County. The city offers easy access to prime red snapper waters through St. Andrews Inlet.  Panama City News Herald
  • Arnold ace Cooper Moss set Bay County records by reaching 300 strikeouts and 20 home runs and was named player of the year by coaches and media. The county's All-County teams honor top baseball players from schools such as Arnold, Bay, Bozeman, Rutherford and North Bay Haven — a nod to a strong season.  Panama City News Herald
  • North Bay Haven junior Kaylee Goodpaster led her team with a .588 batting average—she scored 48 runs, had 60 RBIs and hit 12 home runs in 29 games to set a county record with a career total of 47 home runs. Coach Butch Bernard and assistant coach Eloy Estrada guided the Lady Buccaneers to a 25 to 4 season that featured 276 runs and strong pitching from freshman Addison Mallon who posted a 22 to 2 record with a 2.02 ERA.  Panama City News Herald
