- ➤ Panama City Police are searching for a missing adult, June Skipper, 45, who was last heard from on June 7 in the area — she has brown eyes, stands 5’07 and weighs 275 pounds — and anyone with information should contact the police. WJHG

- ➤ Protect the Emerald Coast Alliance hosted a ground water information session in Freeport where local officials explained that most Florida wells get their water from aquifers (underground rock layers that store water). WJHG
- ➤ On Saturday morning, a guided hike at Panama City Beach Conservation Park taught participants why controlled burns help native plants and animals and lower wildfire risk—biologists explained that some species rely on burning and fires reduce wildfires.
