- ➤ The Panama City Beach Police said a male bicyclist leaving WoodSpring Suites’ parking lot on Sunday evening was hit by a green Mitsubishi Outlander traveling west on Thomas Drive and, when the driver swerved to avoid the cyclist, struck a black Toyota Highlander—leaving the cyclist dead and the Outlander’s driver and passenger with minor injuries while the Traffic Homicide Unit investigated. - ➤ Panama City Beach Police say a fatal crash occurred on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. on Thomas Drive near WoodSpring Suites—where a bicyclist exited the complex and was struck by a green Mitsubishi Outlander that swerved into the eastbound lane and hit a black Toyota Highlander—while officials investigate and say alcohol is not a factor. - ➤ On July 3, 2025, Sheriff Tommy Ford arrested Tyler Gregory Davis after a short chase ended on a sod farm field when his stolen truck hit a ditch—Davis was wanted on several warrants and suspected of driving a stolen vehicle and carrying a stolen handgun. Bay County Coastal
- ➤ Panama City Police Department is looking for 39-year-old Christopher Wayne Williams who was last seen on July 12th at 8:30 p.m. on the 700 block of MLK Boulevard wearing a gray shirt, blue and white plaid shorts, and white sneakers—officials urge anyone with information to call 850-872-3100. - ➤ The National Hurricane Center warned that a trough of low pressure near the southeastern coast will move west across Florida into the northeastern Gulf by Tuesday—bringing heavy rainfall and the risk of flash flooding later this week.
