- ➤ At Holy Nativity Episcopal School, award-winning eighth grader Devin Jani has invented the hobby hand—a wearable glove with a built-in drill that keeps his tools at his fingertips. - ➤ Philip Griffitts Sr. Parkway is halfway done with two completed phases, and at a Tuesday meeting commissioners chose the northernmost option from Clara Avenue to Chip Seal Parkway—this decision reduces impacts on Breakfast Point and avoids environmental concerns. Engineers will begin designing the route, with plans expected to take two years before property acquisition and construction start at an early estimated cost of about $100 million. WJHG
- ➤ The Judicial Nominating Commission is reviewing candidates for two judge positions—one for Bay County and one for the 14th Judicial Circuit—to help ease heavy caseloads as applications are due August 1 and interviews will be held August 29.
