- ➤ Panama City officials are considering upgrades to Tarpon Dock Drawbridge after recent issues were reported — they are evaluating repair options to ensure the structure meets safety standards. WJHG
- ➤ City officials in Panama City stress that pedestrians and cyclists must follow traffic laws and wear reflective gear at night, urging cyclists to equip a white light in front and a red light in back. They also remind riders under 16 to wear helmets (as required by state law) and instruct drivers to allow at least a 3-foot passing distance (to improve roadway safety). My Panhandle
- ➤ On August 2, Panama City held a Town Hall where officials discussed a trial speed camera plan in school zones, park safety at Hentz Park, pothole repair issues, changes for McKenzie Park bathrooms and Bayway service, a marina redevelopment plan, tennis court repairs for Rosenwald High School, and a one-way change on Cedar Avenue—an apology was issued for the notification lapse.
