- ➤ A local artist is restoring a Page building mural — a project that honors local history as our nation nears its 250th birthday — in our community. The mural's restoration will bring a piece of our past to life for everyone to appreciate. WJHG
- ➤ The Tatak International Tattoo Expo is a three-day event at the Boardwalk Beach Hotel and Convention Center in Panama City Beach where tattoo artist Edong Elenzano brings traditional tattoo art to life with artists from Puerto Rico, Samoa, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Today the expo opens from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with $20 admission—free for military and children under 12. My Panhandle
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ 2025 Bay Scallop season began Saturday in Gulf County—covering state waters from the Mexico Beach Canal to the western point of St. Vincent Island—and will run until September 24th. Residents with a valid Florida saltwater fishing license may harvest up to two gallons of whole bay scallops or half a gallon of shucked meat per vessel daily. My Panhandle
