  • Panama City Dillard’s hosted its first annual St. Jude charity car show and food truck fest Saturday, with all proceeds donated to St. Jude. Organizers planned the event in a month and a half—co-organizer Justin Duren said community helpers made it possible.  WJHG

CULTURE NEWS

  • Downtown Panama City businesses hosted live performances for Play Music on the Porch Day event on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.—the event featured local musician Leana Carter and drew crowds as part of a global celebration of music.  My Panhandle

HEALTH NEWS

  • City officials reported that water was restored by 11 a.m. after a water main break occurred Saturday on Hutchinson Blvd at Gulf Highlands Beach Resort—however, a precautionary boil water notice remains in effect until repairs finish and tests confirm the water is safe for drinking, cooking, and brushing teeth.  My Panhandle
