- ➤ Make-A-Wish alumni from Northwest Florida met at Topgolf’s new Panama City Beach location on Saturday to plan future fundraisers that will help grant wishes for children—volunteers and organizers said the event eased the financial pressure on families by sharing the high cost of each wish, which ranges from $6000 to $12,000. - ➤ A local Girl Scout troop from Lynn Haven held a ribbon cutting today to unveil a bucket bay shelf with sand toys at Leslie Porter park — the troop built the shelf with support from city hall and local businesses so families can enjoy playtime. WJHG
- ➤ On Saturday, first responders and community members climbed 110 flights of stairs at Edgewater Beach Resort to honor fallen 9/11 heroes—over 130 participants took about two to three hours to complete the climb and nearly reached a fundraising goal of $10,000 for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
