  • Kay Parker Brackett opened The Grocery Kitchen and Taproom at 1010 Beck Ave in historic St. Andrews by repurposing the old Serve-You-Well store into a restaurant that serves Southern and Cajun food, live music, two bars and fine cigars — a nod to Panama City's heritage and modern spirit — and the venue has quickly become a local gathering place.  Panama City News Herald

  • Bay County History Museum is asking Panama City residents to lend old kitchen items for a Smithsonian Food exhibit opening in January; it welcomed donations on Saturday and will accept artifacts until the end of September – all items will be returned after the exhibit concludes.  WJHG

  • Food truck fans gathered at Publix Sports Park on Saturday for the Panama City Beach Food Truck and Craft Beverage Festival, where over 15 local trucks sold burgers, tacos and craft beverages—music, lawn games and an artisan market added to the event.
