The Fifth Annual Little Village Conch Shell Festival was held Saturday in Saint Andrews, where residents and families took part in a conch shell blowing contest and enjoyed live music, crafts, and a special seasonal menu.
The event honored the legacy of Captain Scuba, a cherished figure from Bay View.

Edgewater Gymnastics Academy hosted a National Gymnastics Day event Saturday, featuring water slides and dunk booths for local children and families.
The academy is accepting fall class applications with its season beginning in November (located off State Road 77).
