- ➤ CareerSource Gulf Coast and the Military & Family Readiness Center at Tyndall Air Force Base will host a job fair on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Horizons Club, Ballroom B at 209 Louisiana Ave — the event invites local job seekers with base access to meet employers such as Tom P. - ➤ FSU Panama City announced a new degree that supports Bay County's mission to keep students local by providing an opportunity to study close to home. WJHG
- ➤ The St. Joe Community Foundation donated $194,212 to FSU’s Panama City campus on Sept. 22 to support artificial reef surveys, an oyster shell recycling program, and K-12 technology clubs that will offer summer camps in Bay and Walton counties. - ➤ Panama City approved a contract with RedSpeed to install automated speed detection systems in 11 school zones with a tentative start on January 1 and a 30-day data review period before tickets are issued.
