Comet Palm Farms welcomes Palmkin Patch back for a second season of fall fun with pumpkins, handmade goods, and sweet treats—cash only for entry.

The event runs through the end of October and will feature a new haunted trail to add spooky excitement.

Panama City Beach Oktoberfest wrapped up its eighth festival at Aaron Bessant Park — strong crowds attended even with rain, and live music played all weekend.

Organizers said it was the best fest yet and they are planning dates for 2026.

On Sunday, demonstrators gathered along 23rd Street near Five Guys and Academy Sports to show pro-life signs and pray in a peaceful event—part of the National Life Chain.

National Life Chain Bay County Coordinator Mike Gagnon said over 1,500 chains have been held nationwide—over 200 in Florida.

Over the weekend, a mama bear (with her three cubs) was seen strolling through a Panama City Beach neighborhood.
