  • On October 25th at 8 a.m., community members will help restore the Historic Millville Cemetery by painting its fence around the six-acre site—organized by the Millville CRA and local churches with supplies, snacks, and drinks provided.  Bay County Coastal
  • The Panama City News Herald is polling readers on which Bay County attraction they miss most after closures due to Hurricane Michael and bankruptcy. Voting remains open until noon on Friday, Oct 24th with options including the Panama City Mall, Miracle Strip Amusement Park, Gulf World Marine Park and Club La Vela.  Panama City News Herald
  • A local nonprofit hosted its 2nd Annual Walk-N-Roll event at Florida State University in Panama City on Saturday to raise awareness for spina bifida and other disabilities—hundreds walked half a mile as funds were raised for a wheelchair-accessible park in Oakland tourist park and to support research into spinal bifida and muscular dystrophy, according to organizer Tory Peek.  My Panhandle
  • Over 100 people attended the first-ever faith festival in Panama City Beach Saturday as organized by the Ark with local churches to help those exploring their faith seek answers. All funds raised will build a new playground at the Ark Shelter for kids+the event is set to return next year.  My Panhandle

  • North Bay Haven earned the No. 1 seed in the state volleyball playoffs starting Oct. 21 + local teams Bay and Mosley qualified for first-round contests. State championships will be held from Nov. 3 to Nov. 8 at Polk State College + winners will advance to regional competitions.  Panama City News Herald
