- ➤ A local nonprofit hosted its 2nd Annual Walk-N-Roll event at Florida State University in Panama City on Saturday to raise awareness for spina bifida and other disabilities—hundreds walked half a mile as funds were raised for a wheelchair-accessible park in Oakland tourist park and to support research into spinal bifida and muscular dystrophy, according to organizer Tory Peek.
