- ➤ The Panama City Kiwanis Club will host Christmas In November on November 19 from noon to 1 p.m., inviting members to dress festively and benefit children in need in Bay County by bringing an unwrapped toy, gift card, or baked goods. The events include Hull-O-Ween trick-or-treating at 3605 Thomas Drive on Oct. 30 at 7 p.m., a Duplin Winery celebration from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 30, a Halloween Block Party at The Dive from 5 to 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 31, a free High Praise Trunk Or Treat at 7124 E. Highway 22 on Oct. 31 at 5:30 p.m., a Haunted Halloween Cruise at St. Andrews State Park from 6 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 31, a Halloween Story Walk at Panama City Beach library from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 31, and a Halloween Party at The LiQ at 8 p.m. on Oct. 31 — offering a range of fun experiences. - ➤ Point Break Pizza Co in Mexico Beach is offering free meals for residents, first responders, and snowbirds following storm damage. The food truck at 3601 Hwy 98 will serve pizza, wings — and drinks to help those affected. WJHG
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Bay County officials responded early Monday morning to a suspected tornado touchdown in Mexico Beach on Oct. 27 that damaged areas around the El Governor Beach Resort and its RV campground—residents said a fallen utility pole hit a camper but no one was injured. Panama City News Herald

- ➤ Native Pride will perform a dance and storytelling event at FSU Panama City on Oct. 29 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. — Larry Yazzie, a two-time world champion, founded Native Pride Productions to share America's indigenous culture, and admission is free. My Panhandle
- ➤ The 26th Gulf Coast Shell Show will be held at the Panama City Beach Senior Center on Saturday, Nov. 1 and Sunday, Nov. 2, featuring scientific and artistic shell exhibits from around the world.
