- ➤ Local woman Machell Akins will host her 7th annual Project Feeding and Serving the Homeless and Hungry on Thanksgiving Day from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Marie Motel in Downtown Panama City where she hopes to feed up to 150 people. - ➤ Panama City residents can access food help at several sites—Calvary Panama City will host a Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway on November 15 at 9:00 a.m., and multiple churches provide scheduled meal services with varying days and times.
