- ➤ Visit Panama City Beach is hosting its 10th annual Home for the Holidays event today at Aaron Bessant Park where families enjoy vendors, free Santa hats, campfire s'mores, and holiday movies. The program includes a screening of Arthur Christmas at 4:15 p.m. and a live performance of The Nutcracker by the Panama City Ballet — with the Panama City Symphony at 6 p.m. My Panhandle
- ➤ At Tyndall Air Force Base, Winn-Dixie and the Winn-Dixie Gives Foundation gave 100 turkeys to military families this holiday so they can have a Thanksgiving meal. The gift is part of a plan to give out over 7,000 turkeys and holiday sides to help local families facing hunger—support that shows the grocer’s commitment to neighbors in need. Bay County Coastal
- ➤ The Shaddai Shriners are selling Christmas trees at the Bay County Fairgrounds daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with trees from 6 to 9 feet priced at $90, $110, and $140—today, kids can also have photos taken with Santa from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the funds will go to support children served by the organization. - ➤ Panama City Symphony is celebrating its 30th Anniversary with two fundraising events—Bella Notte on February 4, 2026 at FSU-PC’s Holley Academic Center and Renaissance to Rock-n-Roll on March 5, 2026 at Capt. Anderson’s Event Center. Bella Notte will feature a formal gala with Paula Villarreal and Leon Lewis-Nicol, while Renaissance to Rock-n-Roll will join symphony musicians with The Will Thompson Band to blend classical and rock sounds.
