- ➤ Panama City will host its Christmas tree lighting event today + organizers have adjusted plans as weather has impacted some holiday gatherings. WJHG

ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ A Bay County man won $1 million on a scratch-off ticket on Friday, Dec. 5, after buying the game at a local store. He plans to claim his prize soon, pending verification (as required by state lottery officials). WJHG
- ➤ Career Source Gulf Coast hosted its Paychecks for Patriots job fair with 221 attendees (85 military-affiliated) and 30 Bay employers looking to hire in law enforcement, administration and manufacturing. Job seekers who missed the fair can visit local Career Source centers. WJHG
